One of the first of its kind worldwide, Tangible Interaction Design creates full-on sensory experiences people can interact with in the everyday physical world.
From sidewalks to retail stores to events or clubs and bars, Tangible can transform any space into an inspiring environment people will walk through, explore with their hands or simply watch in disbelief.
Our work resonates by tapping into people’s basic interest in entertainment, play and exploration. To that end, Tangible offers clients three different services:
Working directly with clients, Tangible can see a project from idea generation through to final delivery. The skills of the in-house team include strategy, design, programming, music, writing, lighting and architecture. We’ll also work with a network of specialists in different fields, from electronic engineers to artists and performers based on the needs of each project.
Tangible is available as an interaction design support service. Some companies we’ve worked with in the past include architectural firms, advertising agencies, marketing, event and PR firms.
Tangible also designs and markets its own interactive products, some are sold separately and some – like Zygote, our inflatable illuminated orbs and others are included as part of our service.
Creating experiences that deliver moments excitement or pleasure where and when people least expect it is a key ingredient in Tangibles creative and developmental process.
Tangible works to create talk value through building experiences people will blog about, talk about and pass on to others.
Connecting with people in the real world, Tangible transforms seemingly traditional spaces to deliver an experience that will get people as involved as possible with each installation.

Place your index finger on the sensor and see the light react to your heart beat. Intellijel created the Heart Rate monitor sensor. No computers everything was running from an Arduino wirelessly connected to the Tangible Light Pixels inside the inflatables
